Georgia Division

The Salvation Army in Georgia began its vital outreach in 1993, establishing itself as a beacon of hope and support for those in need. Over the years, the organization has expanded its presence and currently holds services in eight corps across the country. These facilities not only provide a space for worship and fellowship but also serve as community centers where individuals and families can access a variety of essential resources and programs.

Among the many impactful initiatives in the Georgia Division are the Children’s and Youth Ministry, which nurtures the next generation by offering spiritual guidance, educational activities, and mentorship. The Scout Ministry provides structured opportunities for young people to develop leadership skills, build character, and engage in community service. Additionally, the Divisional Prayer Coordinator plays a crucial role in fostering spiritual unity and offering prayer support for both the ministry and the broader community.

The Salvation Army in Georgia is also dedicated to specialized areas of ministry such as Anti-Human Trafficking (AHT) efforts, Men’s Ministry, and Prison Ministry. These programs address pressing social issues, offering support to vulnerable populations and facilitating rehabilitation and hope. Beyond these core ministries, the organization continues to expand its outreach, ensuring that people from all walks of life receive the help and encouragement they need. Through its diverse projects and unwavering commitment, the Salvation Army remains a cornerstone of compassion and development in the Georgia Division.
