Officer to officer

Dear co-workers in Christ

This morning I was remained by the words of Jesus, which I share with you:

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
John 14:27

The world is in a situation that no one has experienced before. On Saturday I posted a blog with the headline: Just “NOW” we’re all alike! – We are all vulnerable, we all need protection and we all need to protect others – and in particular the most vulnerable among us.

Our governments have done a lot to help us in this situation and we need to follow the laws and instructions that are valid in the country we serve. However, if we feel that these are not sufficient, we can put in stronger rules for conduct within the frames of TSA. Therefore, when I met with the officers in Moldova last Wednesday, I came with very strong recommendations that were not at that time enforced by the government, but fortunately, now they are also endorsed in the society as a whole.

For your information THQ will also close down its physical activity as from today. However, we will be operational on net and accessible on phones etc. This arrangement will last until 31 March and beyond if necessary, and you will be informed as soon as ‘business’ is back to normal.

Boards etc. will take place via skype and transfers of allocations etc. will happen in accordance with normal procedures.

I trust that you will find ways to care for your people even in a time when physical meetings are impossible. Please also be innovative in the way you serve the needy in your area without putting them or yourself at any risk through physical contact.

Be assured of our prayers!
Your brother in Christ!
